Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara [465 km]
Start your 3-day tour from Fes to Merzouga desert with an early morning departure. Begin by traversing the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane, often referred to as the “Little Switzerland of Morocco” for its charming Alpine-style landscape. Continue to the cedar forest of Azrou, where you can encounter friendly Barbary macaques. Journey onward to Midelt, famed for its apples, where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch. Proceed through the picturesque Ziz Gorges, characterized by palm-filled valleys, ancient Kasbahs, and striking mountain views. Arrive in Erg Chebbi by evening for dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional riad or Kasbah, basking in the peaceful ambiance of the desert.Day 2: Merzouga Desert Exploration [80 km]
