Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley [325 km]
Your adventure begins as your private driver meets you at your hotel or riad. We’ll head through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi N-Tichka pass at 2260 meters. The scenic drive includes stops at panoramic viewpoints to admire the landscapes. Our first stop is Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site, where you’ll explore the traditional ksar with its ancient clay buildings. Afterward, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate, famous for its film studios (optional visit), and visit Kelaat M’gouna, known for its roses. We’ll end the day in Dades Valley for an overnight stay in a cozy kasbah.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert [255 km]
We’ll start with breakfast before heading towards the dramatic Dades Gorge, passing through Berber villages like Tinjdad and Erfoud. On arrival at Merzouga, we’ll meet our camels and embark on a desert adventure. Ride across the sand dunes to our camp, where you’ll be mesmerized by a sunset over the dunes. Enjoy a traditional Berber evening with drumming and sleep under the stars in a nomadic tent.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes [476 km]
After breakfast, we’ll journey north through the Tafilalet palm groves, stopping for views of the Ziz Valley. We’ll continue to Midelt, where you’ll have time for lunch and exploration before heading to Azrou’s cedar forest. We’ll also visit Ifrane, Morocco’s “Little Switzerland.” Finally, we’ll arrive in Fes, full of memories from the diverse landscapes and rich culture of Morocco.
Day 4: Fes Sightseeing with a Local Guide
A guided tour through Fes will reveal the secrets of its ancient medina. Wander through narrow streets filled with vibrant souks and visit grand monuments like the tanneries and ceramic workshops. Discover the history of Fes with visits to palaces and mosques. End the day with a relaxing stay at a riad.
Day 5: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen [263 km]
We’ll depart for Meknes, where we’ll explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Afterward, we’ll continue to Chefchaouen, a charming town famous for its blue-painted buildings. Wander through its narrow streets and enjoy its laid-back atmosphere. You’ll spend the night in this picturesque town, with dinner and overnight accommodation provided.
Day 6: Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca [351 km]
We’ll start the day with a final stroll in Chefchaouen before heading to Rabat, the capital. Visit the grand Hassan II Mosque before traveling to Casablanca, Morocco’s vibrant city. You’ll have time to explore before an overnight stay in this bustling urban center.
Day 7: Transfer to the Airport
On the final day of your journey, we’ll transfer you to either Casablanca or Marrakech airport, marking the end of an unforgettable tour. Safe travels, and we hope to see you again soon!
