Day 1: Marrakech to Boumalne Dades via the Road of Thousands of Kasbahs

After breakfast, our 8-day tour from Marrakech to Casablanca begins as your private driver picks you up from your hotel or riad. We’ll travel through the scenic Tizi Ntichka pass in the Atlas Mountains, offering panoramic views of the landscapes. Our first stop will be Ait Benhaddou, where we’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage kasbah. Afterward, we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant in Ait Benhaddou before continuing to Ouarzazate, known for its film studios (optional visit). We’ll pass through the Rose City and head to Boumalne Dades for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Boumalne Dades to Sahara Desert via Todra Gorges

After breakfast, we’ll depart for Merzouga via Todra Gorges. On our way, we’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant, where many tourists take a break. We’ll then continue through Erfoud, the last town before the desert. Upon arrival in Merzouga, the camels will be waiting to take you on an unforgettable ride across the dunes to our desert camp. Enjoy the stunning sunset and a traditional Berber evening with music under the starry sky.

Day 3: Merzouga Sahara Desert to Fes via Ziz Valley and Cedar Forest

We’ll wake up early to watch the sunrise and enjoy a traditional breakfast. Our journey north will take us through Erfoud and Errachidia, with a stop for a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley. We’ll continue to Midelt, known for its apples, where we’ll have lunch. Afterward, we’ll visit Azrou’s cedar forest, home to wild monkeys. We’ll then make our way to Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland” for its alpine feel, and see the famous Stone Lion. Finally, we’ll arrive in Fes for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Fes to Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we’ll set off for Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. The drive offers breathtaking views of the mountainous landscapes and traditional villages. We’ll arrive in the afternoon, and you’ll have free time to explore this charming blue city on foot. You’ll spend the night in a riad, where you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Chefchaouen.

Day 5: Chefchaouen to Tangier via Tetouan

After breakfast, we’ll drive through the Rif Mountains to Tetouan, often called the “White Dove” for its whitewashed buildings. Here, we’ll explore the city and then continue on to Tangier, a bustling port city on the Strait of Gibraltar. Known for its strategic location and rich history, Tangier offers a blend of cultures. We’ll arrive in the afternoon, and after check-in at the hotel, you’ll have time to take a walk around the city before spending the night in Tangier.

Day 6: Tangier to Asilah

After breakfast, we’ll drive along the scenic coastal road to Asilah, a beautiful town on the Atlantic coast. Known for its rich cultural heritage, Asilah has transformed into a cultural and tourist hub. We’ll visit the town’s best attractions, including its colorful walls and local galleries. After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll have free time to explore further before spending the night in Asilah.

Day 7: Asilah to Rabat

After breakfast, we’ll depart for Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. The drive will take us through scenic countryside and small towns. Upon arrival, we’ll visit the Hassan Granary, a historical site with remnants of a grand mosque. After a day of exploration, we’ll check into a hotel for an overnight stay in Rabat.

Day 8: Rabat to Casablanca

On the final day of our tour, we’ll head to Casablanca along the coastal road, passing through Skhirat before reaching Morocco’s largest city. We’ll visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Africa and the third-largest in the Arab world. After the visit, we’ll transfer you to your hotel in Casablanca, where the 8-day Morocco tour concludes.
