Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech – Welcome to Morocco
Upon your arrival in Marrakech, you’ll be greeted by our driver and transferred to your accommodation. Take the evening to relax and settle in, preparing for the exciting days ahead. Enjoy a leisurely evening exploring the vibrant streets or simply unwind after your journey.
Day 2: Explore Marrakech with a Local Guide
After a delicious breakfast at your riad, set out for a full day of exploration in Marrakech. Visit iconic sites such as the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the serene Majorelle Gardens. Wander through the bustling Medina and finish the day at the lively Jemaa El Fna Square, where you’ll witness the dynamic atmosphere of street performers, food stalls, and vibrant local life.
Day 3: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley (324 km)
Your adventure begins as we travel over the Atlas Mountains through the scenic Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Enjoy the stunning views along the way before reaching Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you can explore film studios. Day 4: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert (249 km)
Today, head towards the Sahara Desert. Stop at the breathtaking Todra Gorge to admire the massive canyon walls. Continue through the Rose Valley and the town of Tinghir before reaching Merzouga. Take a camel ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you’ll spend the night at a Berber desert camp. Enjoy dinner, entertainment, and a peaceful night under the stars.
Day 5: Merzouga Desert Exploration
Rise early to witness a stunning desert sunrise. After breakfast, embark on an exciting 4×4 excursion into the desert, visiting a Nomad family to learn about their traditional lifestyle. You’ll also enjoy a performance of Gnaoua music in the village of Khamlia. In the evening, take a camel ride to your desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and live music under the starry sky.
Day 6: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Fes (468 km)
After a scenic sunrise in the desert, begin your journey to Fes. Travel through the beautiful Ziz Valley, renowned for its palm trees, before making a stop in Ifrane, also known as “Little Switzerland.” Continue through the cedar forests of Azrou, where you’ll meet friendly wild monkeys. Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Explore Fes with a Local Guide
