Day 1: Casablanca – Chefchaouen [338 Km]

Your journey begins with a warm welcome in Casablanca, where we’ll meet you at your accommodation or the airport. From there, we’ll drive towards Chefchaouen, renowned for its stunning blue architecture. Along the way, we’ll make brief stops at notable monuments in Rabat, including the historic Hassan Tower. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, check into a traditional riad nestled in the vibrant Medina for a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 2: Free Day to Explore Chefchaouen City

Enjoy a leisurely day exploring the blue-painted streets and highlights of Chefchaouen. Stroll through the iconic Stalk, central to the town’s charm, and explore attractions like Akshour Falls, the Kasbah Ethnographic Museum, the bustling Utah Lhmama Square, and the vibrant Al-Swaiqa District. In the evening, return to your riad for an overnight stay in the heart of this picturesque city.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes [277 km]

After breakfast, we’ll depart Chefchaouen for a fascinating journey to Fes. Along the way, we’ll visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, dating back to 225 BC, known for its stunning mosaics. Following our exploration of this ancient site, we’ll continue to Meknes, once the capital of Morocco during the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismail. Highlights in Meknes include the impressive Bab Mansour Gate, the Sahrij Souani granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After our tour, we’ll drive to Fes and check in at a luxurious riad in the Medina for the night.

Day 4: Fes Sightseeing Tour with a Local Guide

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at your riad before immersing yourself in the cultural wonders of Fes, Morocco’s spiritual capital. Visit the ancient Al Karaouine Mosque and its adjacent University, explore the ornate Madrasa Bouanania, and witness traditional craftsmanship at the Tanneries. After lunch, venture beyond the Medina to visit the Royal Palace Gate, stroll through the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and visit a pottery cooperative. End your day with a panoramic view of the Medina from one of its fortresses before returning to your riad for a restful night.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert [469 km]

After breakfast, we head south to the Merzouga Desert, passing through the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine architecture and cool climate. We’ll continue through Azrou, where we’ll stop to see the Barbary apes in the cedar forests before reaching Midelt for lunch. As we continue through the captivating Ziz Valley, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the desert landscape as we make our way to Merzouga. Upon arrival, enjoy a mint tea before embarking on a camel trek to watch the mesmerizing sunset over the towering dunes. Overnight at a luxury desert camp under the stars.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley [265 km]

Wake up early to witness the unforgettable sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast at your desert camp, ride your camel back to the starting point. We then depart for the impressive Todra Gorges, Morocco’s highest and narrowest gorges, where you can enjoy a scenic hike along the valley. Next, we’ll continue through the stunning Dades Valley, known for its dramatic landscapes, including the iconic Monkey Fingers rock formations. End the day with a delicious dinner at a hotel nestled in the heart of the valley, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech [325 km]

After breakfast, we begin our journey through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa Mgouna, known as the Rose City. We’ll stop to purchase rosewater products, renowned for their lasting fragrance. Continuing to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa”, we’ll visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a backdrop for iconic films like Lawrence of Arabia and Game of Thrones. Our journey continues as we ascend the majestic Tizi ‘n’ Tichka Pass through the High Atlas Mountains, offering opportunities to visit local women’s cooperatives and learn about argan oil production. Finally, we’ll arrive in Marrakech, where your tour concludes with a transfer to your accommodation.
